Our Chancel Choir

Our choir sings every Sunday throughout the season

(November-April). On Palm Sunday, Easter, and Choir Sunday,

the choir sings at the 10 a.m. service. We also sing for other concerts and special events throughout the year.

The choir sings for Sunday morning services; rehearsals are

Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:30pm.  New members are welcome and you need not be here for the entire season, interested singers

may simply come to the next rehearsal.

March 3 - Dedication of our new piano:
>>> At 9:45, preceding the morning service, MacKenzie will play one of the first pieces ever composed for the modern grand piano, Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) by Robert Schumann.

March 17 - Pulpit Exchange Sunday:
>>> Rabbi Sunny Schnitzer will be preaching.  A choir formed of our choir members and singers from Temple Bat Yam will be singing.

 March 31 -  Easter Sunday:
>>> Our choir plus a guest Brass Quartet will provide the music.  We will, hopefully, have our new organ installed by that time, and that will be part of the service as well.

April 21 - Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell                      3:00PM.
>>> We will present this one-act Opera, composed 335 years ago, in conjunction with current and former students at FGCU, along with local professional singers.
