OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE OUR CHURCH
What would you like to do in our church? Scripture says we’ve each been gifted with different talents, experience and interests for ministry. We would like to know about yours! On Sundays, we need head ushers, ushers, greeters, and fellowship hour hosts, liturgists, and communion servers and name-tag return. See the signup sheets in fellowship hall.
VOLUNTEER AT THE FOOD PANTRY
The South Fort Myers Food Pantry located behind Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church is open on Mondays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. We are being asked to help on the first Monday of each month. You can sign up in Fellowship Hall.
VOLUNTEER AS A "MARTHA"
"Marthas" are people who help serve the reception after memorial services. Sign up in Fellowship Hall.
The front desk reception has volunteer shifts available now. The duties include greeting visitors, answering phone calls and occasionally special projects. Call the Office Manager or Assistant Office Manager at 239-472-0497 to find out which days/shifts are available. Summers are slow as far as phone calls etc. but we still appreciate someone present - you are welcome to bring a book or your iPad.
VOLUNTEER FOR EVENTS, ACTIVITIES AND GROUPS
Our congregation is vibrant, and there always seems to be an event, fundraiser, group meeting, or other activity that needs planning and people to help. To learn more, check out the sign-up sheets in Fellowship Hall and the announcements in the church bulletin, or call 239-472-0497.
